Joe Marinacci
Joe Marinacci had been a lover of all genres of music from an early age. Coming from a musical family, he was exposed to a multitude of genres from a young age, making playing in a band like Skyline so rewarding. Being able to play these timeless songs for people is truly a rewarding experience.
Joe began learning guitar at a young age. His first musical hero was Jimi Hendrix. From there, he went on to explore jazz, which led him to the middle school and high school jazz band. While in high school he won the Louis Armstrong Award for outstanding work in honors jazz band. He was also in the top jazz band for the Illinois Music Educators Association (IMEA) competition his senior year.
Joe was awarded a scholarship to study jazz guitar at Northern Illinois University. While in college he continued to explore various genres by playing in jazz, funk, pop, and rock bands around the Chicagoland area.
Since graduating college Joe has been a guitar teacher to hundreds of kids and adults in the suburbs of Chicago. He takes great pride in passing on his knowledge and watching his students grow into confident musicians.
When he is not teaching he is playing with various groups on stages throughout the Chicagoland area, continuing his love for an array of genres and guitar styles. From honky tonk country picking, to hard rock, to funk, and many genres in between, he is comfortable and fulfilled exploring any musical opportunity he is fortunate enough to be a part of.

Eric Woody
Eric Woody is super excited to be playing keys and making memories with Skyline. He graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a piano performance degree and an emphasis on jazz. He has played professionally with many bands and orchestras and also can be seen taking over the microphone with lead vocals and harmonies as well. Eric can play all styles and genres but prefers the music that fills a dance floor and helps people enjoy the greatest moments in life. Music is not just his livelihood, but it is also his greatest passion which is why he brings that passion along with his expertise and professionalism to every event he plays.

Frank Check
Frank Check is a drummer and music educator based in Chicago's western suburbs. His education includes a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Percussion Performance from Northern Illinois University. Frank drums with Skyline, Dan Peters Band, The Backdrop Band, and Pleazure Cruze. He regularly fills in as a freelance drummer around the country. He teaches private percussion lessons at Frank Check Music Studio in Aurora, and directs the Waubonsie Valley High School Steel Band.

Mel Senese
Mel Senese is an up-and-coming artist from Chicago who offers an inspired take on Pop/Rock. She channels the powerhouse energy of Pink, mixed with alternative flashes of Paramore and No Doubt. Inspired by the struggles of everyday life, Mel interprets and alters circumstances with passion and hope. With lyrical storytelling that is both empowering and energized, Mel’s presence is something that will draw you in and keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time.
Mel has had the honor of performing throughout the Midwest & has competed as well, earning her the title of Chicago Big Break Champion in 2017. She’s opened for National artists Dorothy, along with The Veronica’s, and also performed at a Parrot festival this past summer of 2023, which is quite a talking point since Mel has a passion for Parrots (if you can’t tell from her logo). When she’s not releasing music, you can find her performing consistently throughout the Midwest.
In 2020 Mel began experimenting with Live Streaming as a way to connect with her fans during the pandemic. Streaming became her only method of performing along with a way to “stay sane” during the chaos. Her consistency and dedication to these themed events led to a spew of amazing followers who looked forward to her weekly Wednesday streams, and cheer her on to this day. It even landed her an article in the Chicago Tribune, along with a TV performance and interview on ABC7.
She’s also been involved in Brand Campaigns – one of which went viral on TikTok. Mel collaborated with Bliss Skincare for their “this is bliss” campaign in 2020, co-writing the song “this is bliss”. The campaign generated over 7 billion views on TikTok and launched the Brand to tremendous product success.
Coming back from a 2-year song release hiatus, Mel is gearing up for the release of a 5 song EP this summer all about self-love! Her first single Untouchable released in January 2024 will knock a generous sense of confidence into you.
“I’m super excited to release this storm of music onto you in 2024! ”
